In the entire Maritime Self-Defense Force, 641 men and 284 women joined an educational corps in the whole country including the Yokosuka education corps.
In the enlistment ceremony, it is assumed that all members swore to serve, "I do not look back on danger, and serve to the completion of the obligation".
A lot of natives in Miyagi Prefecture etc. that have received damage extensive due to the East Japan great earthquake are included in the new member announced this time.

As for a new member who joined the army this month, it is scheduled to be assigned to each force after the education and training lasting for several months corresponding to the enlistment course after this summer.
