Edano Chief Cabinet Secretary described the struck situation of the East Japan huge earthquake in disaster head-quarters opened in Prime Minister's Office as follows on the morning, March 12.
"It is thought that 1000 people or more died only as for the report now. However, it is a situation in which damage that greatly exceeds it is caused to our regret."
