Ministry of Defense started the preparation for sending about 90 leading members of Ground Self-Defense Force "Central special arms defense corps" that was a special force of the decontamination work etc. for the first nuclear power plant in Tokyo Electric Power Company Fukushima on March 12th.
Members do the monitor investigation of the radiation leak if sent.
The advance force 22 of the this corps has already faced Fukushima Prefecture.
Two people such as sub-commanders of this corps arrived at urgent measures base "Offsite center" in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant around 3:30AM.
According to the Ministry of Defense, though shelter of about 3,000 residents with all sides of three kilos in the surrounding ended, it undertakes the shelter support with the 44th regiment on the Fukushima stationing ground, because shelter of about 50,000 people with all sides of five kilos doesn't end.
On the other hand, the U.S. Navy has percussed to Japan the dispatch of the transport vessel to the coast of Sanriku because of the Sasebo base (Nagasaki Prefecture).
And, they are adjusting with the Self Defense Forces to transport about 250 cars with about 900 members of the Ground Self-Defense Force northern part district corps.
Moreover, it is said that the warship is put out from the Yokosuka base (Kanagawa Prefecture), and the joint search rescue activity is executed with Maritime Self-Defense Force.
29 Maritime Self-Defense Force warships have arrived at the coast of Sanriku so far.
